The venue
A family park with more than 40 rides and shows, Nigloland is located in Dolancourt, in the Aube. Founded by two brothers and former fairground operators, Patrice and Philippe Gélis, it opened in 1987. Its name comes from its mascot, Niglo, which means « hedgehog » in the Romani language.
The park is organised into five themed areas: the Canadian village, the rock ’n’ roll village, the enchanted village, the Swiss village and Niglo’s forest. The rides range from attractions for the youngest to roller coasters such as Alpina Blitz or Krampus Expédition, as well as water rides. The park also presents shows, including the Niglo Show, an animatronics show.
For groups : The group rate applies to groups of more than 20 paying people arriving by coach on the same day, on a quotation paid at least 48 hours before the visit. A lunch ticket can be used in the park's restaurants, and the Erizo restaurant can open specially for groups of 30 people or more. The park also offers group stays with a night in one of its hotels, the Hôtel des Pirates or Cabaïana.
