The venue
130-hectare park dedicated to European wildlife living in semi-freedom. Opened in 1980 in Rhodes, in Moselle, at the heart of the Lorraine regional nature park, the Parc animalier de Sainte-Croix is home to more than 1,500 animals of 130 species. Visitors discover them along trails that cross vast natural areas.
Animals to be seen include deer, bears, lynx, bison, several wolf packs and vultures. The blue trail, the longest, crosses the deer plain, the forest and ponds. Since 2019, the “New World” area has been devoted to North American animals such as the coyote and the black bear. The park also offers lodge accommodation.
For groups : The park welcomes groups of adults and children of more than 20 people for day visits. Groups can discover European wildlife during a one-hour ride on the Safari-Train, and the park offers them set menus served in a panoramic dining room.
