Agaves and Mediterranean plants in the gardens of the Parc Galea

The venue

Cultural park dedicated to Corsican heritage: museums, gardens and workshops. Parc Galea, in Haute-Corse, presents itself as a place that tells “the secrets of a Corsica open to the world”. Across some 9 hectares, museums housed in wooden or stone pavilions sit alongside landscaped gardens and wild areas.

The park brings together the heritage of Corsica and that of more distant cultures. The gardens feature a collection of around 400 cacti, as well as Zen and mineral spaces. There is also a barefoot trail and an archaeological site. Since 2012, the park has held talks and welcomes school days, symposiums and seminars.

For groups : The park welcomes groups and is accessible to people with reduced mobility. Picnicking is possible on site, and the park is open from mid-March to late October, every day in summer and on Sundays in spring and autumn.
