The venue
Forested upland and lakes, ideal for nature discovery and hiking. Created in 1970, the Parc naturel régional du Morvan covers the Morvan massif, in the heart of Burgundy, and brings together 133 member municipalities. Its park centre is in Saint-Brisson, in the Nièvre department.
The area combines forests, hedgerows, meadows, peat bogs and rivers, as well as six large lakes. The Lac des Settons has a leisure centre focused on water sports. For a group, the park lends itself to hiking and to discovering its landscapes and natural habitats.
For groups : At the Maison du Parc in Saint-Brisson, the Maison des Hommes et des Paysages and the Musée de la Résistance offer guided tours for groups all year round, on reservation. Audio guides in French, English and Dutch are included in the admission ticket.
