The venue
Theme park with thrill rides and water play areas in summer. Located in Les Avenières Veyrins-Thuellin, in the Isère department, it opened in 1979 as Avenir Land before becoming Walibi Rhône-Alpes in 1989. The operating park covers 33 hectares.
A visit combines roller coasters, a log flume, water rides and gentler rides for young children. The park is organised into themed areas, such as Explorer Adventure, opened in 2016. Its mascot is a kangaroo, shared by all Walibi parks.
For groups : The park offers a group rate from 20 people, on reservation, with packages combining admission and meals. A car park for 20 coaches is located at the entrance to the site, and twelve restaurants and takeaway outlets are spread across the park. The site is wheelchair accessible, and 24 activities are open to children from 90 cm tall.
