The venue

The ZooParc de Beauval is a zoological park located in Saint-Aignan, in the Loir-et-Cher. Founded in 1980 by Françoise Delord and still run by her family, it is home to around 35,000 animals over 45 hectares. It has often been the first zoo in France to show certain species.

Highlights include giant pandas and koalas, found nowhere else in France, as well as okapis, manatees and Indian rhinoceroses. Opened in 2020, the 38-metre-high Dôme Équatorial recreates tropical habitats home to manatees and Komodo dragons. The Nuage de Beauval cable car flies over the park between the elephant and lion areas.

For groups : Groups book dated tickets on quotation, with one free place for every 50 people and dedicated ticket desks at the entrance. Coach parking is free, at the ZooParc and at the Beauval hotels, and the driver enters free of charge and receives a discount on meals. Guided tours of about two hours are offered, as well as a « Parcours Sénior » combining a two-hour visit, a group lunch and a free afternoon; several dining rooms and meal packages cater for groups, who can also stay in the park's themed hotels.
