The venue
A 400-hectare park dedicated to European wildlife living in semi-freedom. Located in Puisaye, on the estate of the Château de Boutissaint, it was created in 1968 by Pierre-Elie Borione and was the first wildlife viewing park in France.
The forest estate has kept the wild character of the Puisaye woodlands and includes several ponds. Visitors can observe red deer stags and hinds, fallow deer, roe deer, wild boar and European bison, as well as Corsican mouflon in an enclosure. The park borders the Guédelon woods, where a castle is under construction a few kilometres away through the forest.
For groups : School classes can explore the park freely or follow an educational route on fauna, flora and the environment, with a downloadable teaching pack. For companies, the park organises team-building days (land art, puzzles, treetop adventure) and wildlife observation accompanied by a nature guide. Group visits and tailor-made programmes are arranged on request for a quote.
