Granite statues of Breton saints on the hill of the Vallée des Saints, in Carnoët

The venue

Park of monumental sculptures inspired by the legendary Breton saints. Launched in 2008 by an association and inaugurated in 2012, the project covers the hill of Quénéquillec, in Carnoët, Côtes-d’Armor. Its long-term aim is to bring together statues of a thousand Breton saints who founded parishes.

Carved from Breton granite, the statues are generally between 2.5 and 7 metres high. The first ones surround a former castle mound offering a panoramic view over the Poher and the Monts d’Arrée. By 2022, around 170 saints already had their statue, and sculptors come several times a year to create new ones in an open-air workshop.

For groups : Group visits are organised on request, with a group rate from 20 people. A visit lasts one to two hours on average, and a 45-minute guided tour by electric buggy, accessible to people with reduced mobility, is also available. The site has picnic areas and a fast-food outlet serving local produce.
