Trip description
Nicknamed the Island of Beauty, Corsica combines turquoise sea, mountains, hilltop villages and a strong cultural identity. From the Nebbiu, near Saint-Florent, this group trip tours Haute-Corse: Cap Corse, Corte, former capital of independent Corsica, the Calanques de Piana, Bastia and Calvi, not forgetting Patrimonio wines and Corsican charcuterie.

Arrival in Bastia in the late afternoon. Welcome, then transfer to Olmeta-di-Tuda.
Check-in at the Hôtel & Résidence U Nebbiu. Welcome drink, dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
In the morning, departure for Saint-Florent, a charming seaside resort nestled at the head of a magnificent gulf.
Discovery of the village and visit of the 15th-century Genoese citadel.
Continuing to Patrimonio, a famous wine-growing village.
Lunch in Olmeta-di-Tuda.
In the afternoon, departure for Corte, the former capital of Corsica in the 18th century.
Ascent to the citadel by little tourist train and visit of the Musée de la Corse.
Return to the hotel. Dinner and entertainment evening at the Hotel U Nebbiu.
Breakfast, then tour of Bastia by little tourist train.
Departure for the grand tour of Cap Corse, often called “the island within the island”.
Discovery of the east coast with the villages of Erbalunga and Sisco.
Lunch at a restaurant on the Macinaggio marina.
Return via the spectacular west coast.
On the way back from Cap Corse, stop in the Patrimonio vineyards.
Visit of the Montemagni winery and tasting of wines made from traditional Corsican grape varieties.
Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
In the morning, discovery of the village of Murato.
Visit of the church of San Michele, a remarkable 12th-century Romanesque building made of polychrome stone in the Pisan style.
Stroll through the village lanes to discover its rich historical heritage.
Return to the Hôtel & Résidence U Nebbiu for lunch.
In the afternoon, excursion to the Castagniccia, a region famous for its chestnut forests and its villages of schist houses.
Visit of Pasquale Paoli’s birthplace in Morosaglia.
Return to the hotel.
In the evening, guided tasting of Corsican AOC charcuterie at the Hotel U Nebbiu, led by a local charcuterie producer presenting the traditional specialities: prisuttu, coppa, lonzu and figatellu.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Departure for a spectacular day through the landscapes of the island’s interior.
Drive to the Niolu, land of shepherds at the foot of Monte Cinto.
Crossing of the spectacular Scala di Santa Regina.
Continuing through the laricio pine forests of Valdoniello and Aïtone, then discovery of the Spelunca gorges.
Lunch in Porto.
In the afternoon, discovery of the famous Calanches de Piana, where red rocks sculpted by erosion plunge into the sea.
Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
In the morning, departure for the Balagne.
Discovery of the villages of Corbara and Pigna, then visit of Calvi and its Genoese citadel.
Return to the hotel for lunch.
In the afternoon, excursion to the Casinca, a region of hilltop villages overlooking the eastern plain.
Discovery of the villages of Loreto and Penta-di-Casinca.
Optional visit of the Parc Galea in Taglio-Isolaccio.
