A well-prepared quote request saves you time and ensures an offer that truly suits your group. Here is how to go about it.
The information to include in your request
The group and the dates
The number of travellers is the first piece of information that sets the price: it determines the allocation of rooms, the size of the restaurant rooms and the number of free places. Give an estimate, even a rough one, and say whether it may change. Then give your dates, or at least a period and a length of stay: a tour can last from 2 to 8 days. If your dates are flexible, say so, as some periods are easier to book than others.
Special requirements
Mention anything that may affect the organisation: travellers with reduced mobility, dietary requirements, your preferred split between single and double rooms, the presence of a driver and a group leader, and any visits you would like to add or remove. The more precise your request, the closer the quote will be to the final price.
Understanding and comparing quotes
What is included
A group tour quote should be read line by line. Check that accommodation, meals (with or without drinks), admission to visits, guides and entertainment are all included. Circuitgroupes tours are offered all-inclusive: accommodation, meals, excursions, entertainment and a welcome drink. Prices are group rates, with no intermediary commission, and one place is free for every 20 paying travellers.
Booking conditions
Before confirming, read the conditions: the amount of the deposit, the deadline for giving the final number of travellers, and the terms in the event of full or partial cancellation. These points vary from one tour to another; ask if they are not shown in the quote.
